What is USB Type-B Port Explain? How many type of this? Where it is used?
The USB full form is the universal serial bus through which we can transfer both Power and Data. USB is divided into three parts on physical design like USB type A port, USB type B port, USB type C port. Here I will talk about USB type-B port.
It is basically used on the other side of the cable. It is look like Square type and slide angle notch at the top.
At the bottom portion there are 4 pins, one for power, two for data and one for ground, but the number of pins depend on it's version is more or less. But its physical dimensions remain the fixed, width 8.45 mm and height or thickness 7.26 mm.
These two ports were used on maximum mobile phones and electronics gadgets. Initially the mini USB-B port was used in mobile, after that it was made even more thin by a micro USB-B port. Which completely replaced the mini USB-B port in the smartphone world. Because the smartphone was getting thinner day by day and it was very important to thin the usable ports.
Initially data transfer speed was low in USB type-B port, for super speed it was extend 5 pins to 9 pins.
There was also an disadvantage in this, it always had to be seen at the time of applying it, because the pin was always attached to the device from the same side, due to which sometimes it is broken even when it is bent or upside down.
